Mr. and Mrs. Edward Workman, of Danville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Candess Rae Workman, to Mr. William Henderson Hatfield. Will is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Hatfield of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Charles Miller of Turtle Creek and Mrs. Angeline Workman of Danville. Candess is a 2005 graduate of Scott High School. She graduated from West Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and is currently working toward her Masters Degree in Reading Education from Marshall University. She is employed as a teacher for Boone County Schools.
Mr. Hatfield is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy Hatfield of Madison and Mrs. Kathleen Ellis of Madison. Will is a 2003 graduate of Scott High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and earned his Master of Business in Business Administration from West Virginia University. In 2011, he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University School of Law and is currently employed by Hatfield and Hatfield Law Offices in Madison.
A June wedding is planned with a honeymoon in Kauai and Oahu, Hawaii, to follow.
