Three arrested for receiving prescription pills illegally through the mail

The Boone County Sheriff's Office arrested three individuals this afternoon for illegally receiving prescription pills through the mail.
Arrested were Jeffrey Scott Sharp, 35 years old, Keith Allen Blevins, 44, and Tonya Blevins, 38, all of Wharton, Boone County. All three were charged with Transporting Controlled Substances into the State (1-15 years), Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance (1-3 years) and Conspiracy (1-5 years). The three were arraigned in front of Magistrate Byrnside and bond was set at 60k property or 6k cash.
Mr. Blevins is currently out on bond awaiting to be indicted on other drug charges from early spring of 2013. Those charges were related to the distribution and sale of marijuana.
