The leaves are falling and temperatures are starting to cool down. We have finally entered into another West Virginia autumn.
FALL is finally here! Ok, so maybe I am a little excited.
I don’t know about you, but this is my favorite time of year.
I love the pumpkins, the leaves, the sweaters, the boots and all the colors associated with the autumn season.
Of course, we cannot forget about high school football. The place to be on a Friday night in Boone County is a high school football game.
It doesn’t matter if you are Sherman, Scott or Van football fan you just have to go and feel the rush of the game and a sense of community among the fans.
Now back to the pumpkins!
How many of you have gone to pick your pumpkin?
If you guessed by my excitement for the season my husband and I picked out our pumpkins a few weeks ago. Two perfect pumpkins or at least they are to us.
Now that the pumpkins are picked let’s move on to the next holiday. Nope not a chance!
I know this time of year people start to do a countdown to Thanksgiving and Christmas. I know you have a lot to do for both of these upcoming holidays.
But first things first, slow down and take a deep breath.
Don’t get me wrong I love the holidays as much as the next person, but take time to enjoy the here and now. Fall is full of exciting and wonderful things.
Every season, everyday should be savored and enjoyed making as many memories as you possibly can.
Happy Fall, Ya’ll!!
