A few weeks before Halloween I was grocery shopping and I came across Christmas items already in stores. It seems to me holiday items keep coming out earlier every year.
Now I am not complaining about everything Christmas coming out too early, because those peppermint Hershey Kisses can stay out year round as far as I am concerned.
A month ago I saw a countdown to each upcoming holiday on Facebook.
My Dad sent me a text in October asking for a Christmas wish list. Yes, I still get to make a wish list.
No, I am not spoiled. It’s just a tradition we have. My sister and I both make wish lists. It would not be the holidays if we didn’t do this.
Now that we have reached November (which by the way this month has flown by) we need to start prepping for Christmas. I have not even prepped for Thanksgiving.
We now have eight days before Thanksgiving.
Are you going to be ready? It is time to make the dreaded to do list. It is time to delegate who is making which dish for dinner.
Do not forget about Black Friday. How many of you get up at say 4 a.m. to fight the crowd for what you hope is going to be substantial savings?
I for one like to sleep in on Black Friday. When I was in college I worked way too many holidays in retail. So, no thank you! I will catch cyber Monday.
In the midst of all of this holiday prepping stop and enjoy the reason you stress over it each year. FAMILY and FRIENDS!
