Spring forward, fall backward. It is time again to change every clock we own to the correct time.
I am not sure I succeeded at changing my clocks to the right time back in November. I guess that means I am finally ahead of the game on something.
On Sunday, March 12 we will spring our clocks forward for daylight saving time.
This is that unfortunate time of year where we lose an hour sleep for one day. If you are anything like me you cannot afford to lose much more sleep.
The spring forward time of year or daylight saving time has to be my favorite time of year. I like when I get home of the evening there is still plenty of daylight left to walk or sit on the porch while dinner cooks on the grill.
I know I have talked a lot about liking winter and snow in past weeks. If I could combine daylight saving time and winter it would be the greatest thing. Now everyone really thinks I am crazy!
If you are a clock collector you have your work cut out for you. Remembering to fix a few clocks seems like a quite task to me.
Luckily smartphones change time for us. I am thankful for my smartphone in this aspect. I sure could have used it many years ago when I was in college and showed up an hour before I was supposed to be at work.
If we are honest with ourselves we have all at one time or another had some type of mishap with the time change.
Late for church, early for church. Late for work, early for work. The latter being me!
Let’s just hope my smartphone is really as smart as it is supposed to be and I am not messed up on time come Monday, March 13.
