On Wednesday, Dec. 23, Tudor’s Biscuit World, held their annual holiday truck giveaway drawing at the Lee Street location in Charleston, WV.
Around half a million customers registered since November 1st at restaurant locations throughout the Tri-State area for their chance to win the Ford F-150 Extended Cab truck. Steve Walker of Saint Albans, WV, was the lucky customer who will be enjoying the new Ford F-150 truck purchased from Bert Wolfe Ford in Charleston.
Walker’s mother-in-law had called just after noon on Wednesday. “I just heard on television that Steve Walker won the Tudor’s truck”, she tells him. “Mother, there are lots of Steve Walkers,” he recalls saying. “I doubt it was me.” Steve remembers thinking and wondering about it when he heard his home phone ring and the moment went surreal for him. Ray Burke of Tudor’s Biscuit World was calling to confirm that he did indeed win the truck!
For more than 20 years, this annual holiday tradition has allowed the West Virginia owned and operated company to give back to a devoted customer base according to Oshel Craigo, CEO of Tudor’s Biscuit World. “We enjoy an amazing level of customer loyalty,” Craigo says. “Every year we look forward to this opportunity to show our appreciation for our customers’ remarkable commitment to Tudor’s Biscuit World, and for me, I always enjoy watching our winners smile.”
It wasn’t just a truck given away before Christmas. Tudor’s Biscuit World also gave away $100 Tudor’s Gift Cards, one at each of the 65 restaurant locations across West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky.
Locally, Gail Clevinger at Danville was the winner of the $100 Tudor’s Biscuit World gift card from local restaurants. Tudor’s Biscuit World is a West Virginia restaurant company specializing in home-style breakfasts, sandwiches and dinner entrees.
