MADISON- Alan Robinson of Seth was sentenced to prison by Judge William S. Thompson, Sept. 14.
According to the Boone County Prosecutors Office Robinson was sentenced to one to five years in prison for sexual abuse in the first degree. He will serve no less than one year and no more than five years in prison. He has a credit of one day served for his sentence.
The Prosecutors Office says Robinson will have to register as a sexual offender once he is released. He will also have to serve an additional 50 years of supervision once released.
According to court documents, Robinson will be required to pay restitution to his victim in the amount of $1,166.88.
Robinson was a school teacher at Sherman High School when the incident occurred in 2015.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office no other victims came forward.
Boone County Prosecutor D. Keith Randolph handled the prosecution.
Robert Scott Clark II, of Omar was also sentenced to prison Sept. 14 by Judge William S. Thompson.
According to the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office Clark was sentenced to 30 years in prison for first degree robbery. He was given credit for 331 days served for his sentence.
According to court documents Clark has to pay for the cost of the court proceedings as well as jail fees, Court appointed attorney fees, Court appointed attorney’s witness fees and State witness fees associated with his court case.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office the robbery took place Oct. 2015 at the Hatfield McCoy Mart in Danville on route 119.
