FOSTER – The Boone County Board of Education (BOE) had a special meeting Wednesday, February 22 at 5 p.m.
All board members were present except for board member Danny Cantley. The Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent were both present as well for this meeting.
There were no delegations for the Wednesday meeting.
There were approximately 35 people who attended the special BOE meeting.
The board made a motion to go into executive session. All board members were in favor of this.
The reason for the executive session according to the BOE special meeting agenda was to “Consider and possibly take action regarding the employment, transfer and retirement of personnel and to discuss pending legal matters.”
The executive session in was in for most the meeting.
When the board returned it was announced to the public that no action had been taken during the executive session.
The consent agenda was approved by the board when they returned from executive session. There was one item on this part of the agenda. It was personnel actions.
At this point the entire agenda had been tended to and the meeting was adjourned.

Monday, March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Conference Room at Operations Complex in Foster, W.Va
Monday, March 20 at 6 p.m. in the Cafeteria at Van Junior-Senior High School, Van, W.Va
Monday, March 27 at 6 p.m. in the Media Center at Scott High School, Madison, W.Va
