MADISON – Jamie Lee Holstein, 28 of Ashford was arrested Monday, April 10 for one misdemeanor charge and one felony charge.
According to criminal complaint Holstein was allegedly arrested for driving suspended miscellaneous and for grand larceny.
The criminal complaint states it “…was discovered that Mr. Holstein’s license status was revoked for an unpaid citation. Mr. Holstein’s most recent revocation became active on March 22, 2017.”
The alleged grand larceny was for a Ford Ranger stolen from Stephens Auto.
The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) said the truck had stolen merchandise inside it at the time it was recovered. Items included a pressure washer, hand tools, gas cans and hedge trimmers.
Most all the tools had been identified and returned to the rightful owners. The Ford Ranger was also returned back to Stephens Auto.
According to a second criminal complaint Holstein was also allegedly charged with daytime burglary and a second charge of grand larceny.
The criminal complaint states “…the defendant stole a Ruger .22 caliber rifle, Stihl weedtrimmer, Stihl chainsaw, three gallon tank air compressor, Dewalt grinder, Craftsman circular saw and a large case knife.”
According to WVSP Holstein had his preliminary hearing on Thursday, April 20 where he waived his case to the grand jury.
Holstein is currently being held at Southwestern Regional Jail.
