The Madison Rotary Club was pleased to welcome John Reger, financial consultant for the new Boone Memorial Hospital project, to their Thursday meeting. He gave an update on the progress of the construction of the new hospital and also spoke about the 10-year process that eventually led to success in securing funding for the new facility. Reger, who has worked with BMH almost from the beginning of the project, was instrumental in helping secure the $31.8 USDA loan. He praised the BMH administrative team, the board of trustees, and staff for their hard work and perseverance in working toward what has become a successful beginning for a new hospital for the citizens of Boone County and surrounding areas.
