Evans, Holstein announce marriage
Brittany Nicole Evans and Travis Richard Holstein were married on April 6, 2013 at Mahone Chapel Church in Ashford. The 2:30 pm ceremony was performed by Danny Kinder II, cousin of the bride.
Brittany is the daughter of Hershel and Sandra Evans of Nellis. She is the granddaughter of Kermit and Rose Harless, Aretta Evans and the late Hershel Evans all of Nellis. Travis is the son of Richard and Deanna Holstein of Ashford. He is the grandson of Phillip and Anita Kirk of Drawdy, Richard Holstein of Hillsboro and the late Nola Holstein of Ashford.
The Matron of Honor was Jessica Rach, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Harless, aunt of the bride, Chelsea Harless, cousin of the bride, and Julie Adkins, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Makayla Harless, cousin of the bride. The guest book attendant was Carlie Sizemore-Laws. The best man was Steven Harless, uncle of the bride. Groomsmen were Jason Baldwin, Dylan Baldwin, and T.J. Smith, all friends of the groom. Jon Rach, brother-in-law of the bride, served as the usher. Ring bearers were Austin and Evan Rach, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held in the church activity building.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Virginia Beach and now reside in Ashford.
Brittany is employed as a medical assistant at WVU Pediatrics of Charleston. Travis is employed by Hanover Resources in Slaughters Creek.
