“Key Clubs” are youth service organizations that work under the umbrella of local Kiwana’s Clubs throughout the country.

They regularly select a community project to contribute to.

The Chapmanville Regional High School Key Club, under the guidance of their sponsor, Don Saunders, recently selected the Boone Animal Rescue Coalition (or BARC) as a recipient of its effort.

The group sold donuts to raise money to aid BARC’s efforts in rescuing dogs and cats and finding them rescues or permanent homes.

CRHS key club members presented BARC president, Cheri Capuano, with a check for $687 to go towards funding rescue efforts.
