The mission of HOSA is to enhance delivery of compassionate quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community. On March 1-2, 2013, our HOSA students had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities against schools throughout West Virginia. Any student winning 1st place in their competitive event earned the opportunity to compete at the national conference. Overall, we had 21 1st place winners. We also had two students earn positions, Vice-President and Reporter, on the Executive Council of WV HOSA. The National Leadership Conference will be held in Nashville, TN on June 26-29, 2013. We would like to request your assistance in providing this opportunity to our students. All money raised or pledged will help reduce the costs to our students for registration and travel.
