There will be a benefit bingo night starting at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Madison Middle School with the proceeds going to help out of work coal miners.

The event is part of the “Keep the Lights On For All Laid Off Coal Miners.”

“They keep the lights on for us all year long,” said Kim Lay, one of the event’s organizers. “So this is our chance to help them during Christmas and their time of need.”

Lay said “Keep the Christmas Lights On” is giving back to the coal miners and their families that have been affected by the recent coal mining lay-offs.

Donations are also being accepted. Contact Kim Lay at 304-307-4422 or Kim Adkins at 304-833-0000.

“All donations go to help this families to be able to have Christmas,” Lay added.
