The Rev-Up Madison group met this evening at 7 p.m. at the Hill Chiropractic Center on Main Street.
Rev-Up Madison's primary goal is to clean up downtown Madison, while embracing projects and events that will help promote, educate and enhace the experience of living and working in downtown Madison.
On May 20-21, the town will be visited by an assessment team from the West Virginia Development Office. These individuals are coming to the area to assess the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the downtown area.
The group decided it will host another QVC auction on May 16, a Saturday, to raise funds.
On Saturday, April 18, Rev-Up will join other civic-oriented groups such as Massey Spousal Group and the Madison Fire Department, by working on another facade improvement project while the other groups clean up litter and clean the streets of Main Street.
Rev-Up member and WVU Extension agent Robin Bailey Bunch invited any interested person to the Get Motivated Conference that will be held in Charleston. According to Robin, the WVU Extension Office has 40 extra tickets for anyone interested in attending on Tuesday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
