OTTAWA – A Boone County woman has been charged with trying to trade prescription pills.
Dale Rice was arrested after West Virginia State Police Troopers claim she went to a home in Ottawa and was attempting to trade prescription pills she had for another kind of prescription pills.
Police did not say what kind of pills Rice was trying to trade or what kind of pills she was attempting to get. No other details about the alleged crime were given by police.
Rice was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver.
Rice was arraigned in Boone County Magistrate Court Wednesday and is currently in the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $60,000 bond.
