Sherman Tide defeats Van Bulldogs

Boone County rivals Sherman and Van meet in basketball action on Monday night, February 13 at the Sherman High School gym. Both teams had an exceptional game; however the Sherman Tide defeated the Van Bulldogs 77-63.

SETH, W.Va – Boone County rivals Sherman and Van meet in basketball action on Monday night, February 13 at the Sherman High School gym. Both teams had an exceptional game; however the Sherman Tide defeated the Van Bulldogs 77-63.

Sherman is now 7-10 on the season. They jumped out to a 24-18 first quarter lead. They led 46-35 heading into the dressing room at halftime. Van is now 7-8 on the season. The Tide held onto their lead in the second half, despite the Bulldogs mounting a comeback attempt.
