Willard Eugene "Gene" "Killer" Brown
Willard Eugene "Gene" "Killer" Brown, 69, of Danville went home to be with the Lord September 11, 2011.
He was a retired coal miner of Bethlehem Mines, Twilight.
He was born July 12, 1942 and was a son of the late Jess and Nannie Green Brown. He was also preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Loretta May Brown; brothers, Keith Brown and Ricky Allen Brown.
He is survived by his second wife, Pauline Hudson Brown; daughter, Marie "ReRe" and Kenny Smith of Danville; son, Eugene Brown and Jessica of St. Albans; grandchildren, Sally Runion, Natasha Adams and Jesse Ray Smith of Danville, Baxter Brown, Ashley Brown and Dakota; five great-grandchildren, Prissy Dolson, Eli, Tye and Noa Adams, Rusty Runion; one step-grandson, Zac Hudson; brothers, Herbert Brown of Woodville and Raymond Brown of Danville; sisters, Doris DeWeese of Madison, Mildred Miller of Jarrells Valley, Anna Ruth Lovejoy of Rock Creek and Cheryl Price of Quinland.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 15 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Ronnie Gibson. Burial followed in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
