VAN – The Van defense forced five fumbles and recovered four of them, but the Bulldog offense wasn’t able to turn any of those opportunities into points in last Friday night’s loss to Valley High School.

The Bulldogs (1-2) punted seven times and threw one interception in the 20-0 loss at home.

Valley (2-0) rushed for nearly 250 yards and was a perfect 3 for 3 passing for 80 yards and a touchdown in the game.

The score was only 6-0 at halftime before the Greyhounds scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to seal the victory.

Van is open this Friday, Sept. 14, and has its next game on Friday, Sept. 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Midland Trail.
