The Rite Aid in Danville hosted a “Wellness Fair” on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. The store host the fair every three months. Rachel Silva, the store’s Wellness Ambassador (left), and Ruby Piscopo, store manager (right), said the store wants to promote wellness in the community. Samples of the store’s “wholesome goodness” foods were available, as well as samples of vitamins, lotions and medicated ointments. The fair also offered free blood glucose and blood pressure screenings and information on nicotine dependence. The store was remodeled recently and the community was able to see all the new things the store has to offer.
