Boone County Parks and Recreation workers stocked trout from Whitesville to Ashford on friday. They also stocked areas of creeks in Prenter, Drawdy Falls & Lick Creek in Ashford. Chris from Indian Lake netted the fish into big tubs for the workers to carry to the river and release. The fish were of a nice size and if the weather permits we should see a lot of families fishing along the banks of the Big Coal River.
