First Baptist Church of Racine
The First Baptist Church of Racine would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate the Easter Season.
Maundy Thursday on March 28 at 7 p.m. the Lord’s Supper will be served. Friday, March 29 will be the Good Friday Service.
Three of the community churches join together for this service of which Racine Baptist will be the host, Rev. Lee Johnson of the Healing Stream of Seth will be delivering the message and the Racine Methodist Choir will have the special singing. Saturday, March 30 will be the Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m.
All children ages Pre-K to 5th grade are invited. Plastic eggs with goodies inside are hidden throughout the church property, which will be divided into different age group areas.
Sunday, March 31, begins with Sunrise service at 7 a.m. followed by light refreshments. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., morning service at 11 a.m. and the evening service at 7 p.m. Feel free to choose any or all to attend as we walk the path of our Risen Savior!
Bias Branch Freewill Baptist Church
Family and Friends Day at Bias Branch Freewill Baptist Church on good Friday, March 29 at 6 p.m. Bias Branch youth group will be having an Easter play, and following with dinner. If you have ever been to Bias Branch Church, or if you never have been here, please come out and enjoy the evening. Pastor Paul Eldridge welcomes everyone to attend.
First Baptist Church of Danville
The First Baptist Church of Danville will present “The King Is Coming” an Easter cantata and drama on Friday, March 29, at 7 p.m.
There will also be a sunrise service at the church on Easter Sunday at 6 a.m., with breakfast following and the regular service beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The church is located on Park Avenue in Danville. Everyone is invited to come and join us in these special worship services.
The Rock Creek Church of Christ will have a Gospel Meeting April 7-11, 2013. The speakers will be Brother Louis Watts and Brother Joseph Watts. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
The “Closet” at Greenwood Church of God reports bad news that it will be closed until another location can be found.
On April 12 and 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., they will have a summer giveaway. Everything they have will be in the annex building and anyone can get whatever they need.

Mahone Chapel United Methodist Church
The United Methodist Women of Mahone Chapel United Methodist Church at Ashford has begun its annual Easter Egg candy fundraising project.
Flavors available are peanut butter, smoothies, coconut, maple nut, cherry nut, and orange. The cost is $1 for small, $2 for 1/4 pound, and $3.50 for 1/2 pound. Suckers in various Easter patterns are 25 cents each.
