CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Jarrell Ryan, of Bob White, for his recent accomplishments. After he was laid off from his coal-mining job, he began taking flight lessons to become a pilot. Since then, he has become a flight instructor at Mallory Airport in South Charleston. Last month, he passed his exam to be a multi-engine instrument commercial instructor. He is also a school bus driver in the area. His family couldn't be more proud of him and his accomplishments. We are so proud of you and we love you, from your grandchildren, Lacey, Hayley, Piercen, Carlee and the twins to come.

Congratulations to Lindsey Wooten, of Bald Knob, and Jason St. Claire on their engagement! They are getting married on

Oct. 10 in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Congratulations to Eric and Heather Harper, of Madison, on the birth of their daughter, Lucy. Lucy was born on Sept. 18, weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Lucy has an older sister, Ivory.
