Glenn Ray Hayes Jr. of Seth went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 26 at the Hopkins Fork Community Church, with the Rev. Ronnie Santonia officiating. Singer was the Rev. Junior Perdue. Interment followed at Santonia family cemetery, Laurel Creek, with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 5578, Madison.

James Bernard Smoot

James Bernard Smoot was born to the late Francis Smoot Murrell and Marvin Price on Sept. 16, 1951, in Madison. He departed this life on Jan. 20, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 26 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Michael Pollard officiating. Burial followed at Danville Memorial Park, Danville.

Janice Lee Vickers

Janice Lee Vickers, 72, of Charleston, passed away Jan. 29, 2010.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Her wishes were to be cremated. Burial will follow at Mechanic Cemetery, Bloomingrose.

Bryan Franklin Judy, 44, of Foster passed away Jan. 23, 2010 at home.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 27 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Kenneth Mitchell officiating. Entombment followed at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.

Wanda Price Banwell

Wanda Price Banwell, 74, of Farmington Hills, Mich., formerly of Madison, died Jan. 23, 2010, in Angela Hospice Care Center, Livonia, Mich., after a long battle with cancer.

Following cremation, there will be a memorial service in Livonia, Mich.
