You should have seen the Law Enforcement Memorial Candelight Vigil in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, May 13, 2012. My brother Richard, his wife Kay, our sister Shelby and my wife Ann attended the annual Vigil to honor mt Grandfather Jesse R. Browning, who was killed in the line of duty as a Deputy Sheriff of Boone County in 1917. Also Cecil Alvin Ferrell was honored in the same ceremony. All Boone County should stop this Memorial Day weekend and remember the ultimate sacrifices these men and their families suffered to protect all our citizens of Madison and surrounding areas. Remember: RESPECT. HONOR & REMEMBER!!!!!!
